Crock-Pot Cheesy Chicken and Rice (Paƫlla)

The war was waging on. It was beginning to look like the spare Prince was going to win. The queen of night could not handle much more of the hunger strike against dinners. This nights dinner was a very simple meal cooked in a crock pot. While the children did not enjoy this meal very much, it was very simple to make and for them to eat. Crock-Pot cheesy chicken and rice was simply composed of chicken, chicken broth, saffron rice, corn, green beans, and a ton of cheese. All the Queen of Night had to do was put the chicken and broth into a crock-pot and allow it to cook for 7 to 8 hours. Then when it was close to time for everyone to eat, she shredded the chicken and added the remaining ingredients. This was a dish that could remain warm for a very long period of time so that the Dragon King would be able to eat it after soccer practice. It also could be ready to be consumed before practice so that the High Prince could have his meal before playing soccer. Because of this, the fami

Coconut Chicken and Cheesy Cauliflower...Yuck!

Following the absolutely torturous dinner and dessert from the weekend, the Spare Prince decided that he would try not to come to the table at all. It was believed that he felt he had already ate dinner that day. The royal family went out for lunch and were pampered by foreign chefs. To everyone's great relief, the Spare Prince ate the chicken fingers given to him. Now this was a bigger lunch than he was used to, so it wasn't entirely a surprise when he did not want to come to the table for dinner. The Dragon King and the Queen of Night even discussed whether to force him to join the family or not. it was decided that the entire family should sit together whether everyone eat the meal or not. This night's meal consisted of coconut chicken and a side of cheesy cauliflower. It was not a meal that any of the children had liked in the past very much, but the Queen of Night was getting tired of having the same dishes over and over simply because they were easy to make on soc

How Dare You Eat My Cookie!

When The War originally began, it had been established that there would be one day a week where everybody got to pick whatever dinner they wanted. That day happened to be Saturday. The Queen of Night wanted one night where she no longer had to worry about what she was cooking and who was going to be eating it. The Dragon King took it upon himself to make sure that the Queen of Night did not have to cook by venturing out into the countryside and recruiting some peasant to pamper the Queen. Even though this new war seem to be a little different than before, the Queen discussed whether they would continue this trend with the High Prince and the Princess of Dragons. Not wanting to give up their freedom on Saturdays, they explained that the Spare Prince should be given a choice as well. When the Queen asked if this should continue every Saturday or just for the first Saturday in order to make sure that the Spare Prince did not lose too much weight, initially the High Prince said just this

A Taco Compromise

Over the Time of Peace, the Princess of Dragons developed a very specific love...Tacos. Much to the Dragon King's delight, tacos became a meal made at least twice a month. They weren't the same kind every time. Oh no, the High Prince never would have stood for that, but as long as the With of Night changed it up from time to time, the Royal Family would enjoy tacos with very little fuss. Even the Spare Prince had been known to join in from time to time. With the history having been established, the Queen of Night honestly thought the Spare Prince would be hungry enough to finally join the family for Tex Mex Chicken Tacos in the crock pot. Following the Princess of Dragons soccer practice, the entire family sat at the table for dinner. It was later than normal due to all the Royal obligations. Everything looked very promising... And then the Spare Prince refused to eat. The High Prince tried to get him to take a bite but calling the tacos by a million different names, but

Not Hungry Mommy!

The fourth day of the battle consisted of a rather unusual situation. The Queen of Night told everyone that it was dinner time. The Princess of Dragons eagerly came to the table to see what the Royal Feast would be. She was not exactly pleased with Crispy Meatloaf Wellington, but she was eager to please the Queen of Night. The High Prince as well came to the table thinking that the meal was something that it was not. Once he realized what it actually was, he was also not pleased but eager to please the Queen. Both insisted on having their dinner before the Dragon King could appear. The Queen decided to join in the feast with them while they waited for the Dragon King to come home from his many trials. When she called the Spare Prince to the table, his response who was confusing. "No, Mommy. No dinner. No more food," the Spare Prince shouted. "Are you telling me that you are refusing to eat dinner?" the Queen asked in astonishment. "No more dinner,"

Those Aren't Noodles

Day three of the war waged on. The Spare Prince had yet to take a bite of the food that the Queen of Night had cooked. This night, because there was supposed to be soccer practice at the usual dinner time, the meal was a crock pot dish. It was Crock-Pot Chicken Alfredo Lasagna. This was the first dish that the High Prince actually ate in the initial War without any complaint and ate it faster than everyone else in the Kingdom. It had not been one made often simply because the hot summer did not seem like a good time to be eating this dish. But now with crazy soccer schedules, more crock pot meals have had to be made in order to ensure healthy dinners are ate. Much to the Queen of Night's surprise, before it was even time for everyone to enjoy the meal, the Princess of Dragons ate two whole plates of the lasagna before anyone else had sat down at the table. She ate one plate and promptly asked for more spouting that she absolutely loved this dish. The High Prince got jealous of

A New Battle Begins...

The kingdom had been calm and happy for quite a long time. It had appeared that the war had been won. While little skirmishes would occasionally break out between the High Prince and the Princess of Dragons and their meals, overall they were eating everything put in front of them. The kingdom was enjoying the moment of peace. Until one fateful day the, Spare Prince finally decided that he had had enough. It was a new school year and the High Prince and the Princess of Dragons were going to school. It was also a new soccer season of which the Princess of Dragons was finally playing. The Spare Prince wanted desperately to play but due to his young age, he wouldn't be able to play soccer for another three seasons. This did not go over well. In order to try to give the Spare Prince something to look forward to, the Queen of Night began taking him to a another kingdom to play with kids while she perfected her physique. This move was double-sided. The Queen of Night was indeed preparing
