Crock-Pot Cheesy Chicken and Rice (Paëlla)

The war was waging on. It was beginning to look like the spare Prince was going to win. The queen of night could not handle much more of the hunger strike against dinners. This nights dinner was a very simple meal cooked in a crock pot. While the children did not enjoy this meal very much, it was very simple to make and for them to eat.

Crock-Pot cheesy chicken and rice was simply composed of chicken, chicken broth, saffron rice, corn, green beans, and a ton of cheese. All the Queen of Night had to do was put the chicken and broth into a crock-pot and allow it to cook for 7 to 8 hours. Then when it was close to time for everyone to eat, she shredded the chicken and added the remaining ingredients. This was a dish that could remain warm for a very long period of time so that the Dragon King would be able to eat it after soccer practice. It also could be ready to be consumed before practice so that the High Prince could have his meal before playing soccer.

Because of this, the family sat down at the table early. The Queen genuinely thought that this meal would go quickly. Instead the High Prince barely finished before it was time to leave. The Spare Prince screamed at the Queen and adamantly refused to sit down in the chair. Getting desperate, the Queen of Night ate her meal and left for the royal bedchamber. This day the idea that her children did not want to eat this food when there were other families that were starving was genuinely getting to her. It took her leaving for the Princess of Dragons to finally start to eat her food and for the High Prince to finish his.

Soccer practice began and the queen say staring at the Spare Prince. She begged him to eat a single bite. She tried to put the soon in his mouth when he happened to keep his mouth open for longer than a second. Then she lost it... Her temper that was.

The Queen screamed in the Spare Prince's face and left for the bed chamber again. She knew that her lost temper was going to hurt both the Spare Prince and the Princess of Dragons.

While in her room praying for a solution, the Princess attempted to get the Spare Prince to eat. The Queen could hear this happening and just waited to see if her beautiful daughter would succeed where she had failed. She did not.

Holding to statements promised earlier, at the stroke of six, she removed the Spare Prince's food and have him the shower he did not want. He screamed and cried because he wanted a bath instead. He begged his sister for help, but only saw her disapproving face. The Spare Prince was given one last chance to take a bite of food. Add his face turned away, the Queen found a sad calm. She put him to bed way early and left to be with the Princess of Dragons.
