Not Hungry Mommy!

The fourth day of the battle consisted of a rather unusual situation. The Queen of Night told everyone that it was dinner time. The Princess of Dragons eagerly came to the table to see what the Royal Feast would be. She was not exactly pleased with Crispy Meatloaf Wellington, but she was eager to please the Queen of Night. The High Prince as well came to the table thinking that the meal was something that it was not. Once he realized what it actually was, he was also not pleased but eager to please the Queen. Both insisted on having their dinner before the Dragon King could appear. The Queen decided to join in the feast with them while they waited for the Dragon King to come home from his many trials. When she called the Spare Prince to the table, his response who was confusing.

"No, Mommy. No dinner. No more food," the Spare Prince shouted.

"Are you telling me that you are refusing to eat dinner?" the Queen asked in astonishment.

"No more dinner," the Spare Prince replied.

"You will not be getting anything other than this meal if you ask for for later. Do you understand me?" the Queen asked suspiciously.

"Yes." With that one word the Spare Prince walked away.

When the Dragon King was able to join the family, the Spare Prince was brought to the table again only this time he was not allowed to walk away. He sat in the chair, doing nothing, until it was time for his bath and bed. On this night, the Dragon King attempted to get him to eat the meal, giving the Queen of Night a much needed break from the toddler torment. He never tried the meal and remained consistent in turning away from every attempt to put food in his mouth.

Again, the Spare Prince's stubbornness outweighed his hunger. When going to bed, he explained that he would not eat dinner the next night either. "No tacos. Daddy's tacos. No mine."

"We will see young man. We will see," the Queen said as she said goodnight.
