A Taco Compromise

Over the Time of Peace, the Princess of Dragons developed a very specific love...Tacos. Much to the Dragon King's delight, tacos became a meal made at least twice a month. They weren't the same kind every time. Oh no, the High Prince never would have stood for that, but as long as the With of Night changed it up from time to time, the Royal Family would enjoy tacos with very little fuss. Even the Spare Prince had been known to join in from time to time.

With the history having been established, the Queen of Night honestly thought the Spare Prince would be hungry enough to finally join the family for Tex Mex Chicken Tacos in the crock pot.

Following the Princess of Dragons soccer practice, the entire family sat at the table for dinner. It was later than normal due to all the Royal obligations. Everything looked very promising... And then the Spare Prince refused to eat. The High Prince tried to get him to take a bite but calling the tacos by a million different names, but nothing seemed to be working. This was day five and the Spare Prince had lost three pounds from his hunger strike. The Queen was getting desperate. Then the Princess of Dragons called the taco shells by a new name: taco chips.

The Spare Prince began to show interest. The Dragon King went to fix more taco shells for the meal and an idea began to form. "Maybe if we can get him to start eating a taco 'chip', hell decide to eat everything else with it," the Queen of Night whispered to get beloved. "It's worth a try," the Dragon King agreed.

Excitedly, the Spare Prince ate his taco chip. The Queen tried to get him to eat another one from her own plate that included the filling, but the Spare Prince exclaimed that he was finished and left the table. He are no more and didn't even ask for anything else that night. It wasn't a win, but it also wasn't a loss. This taco dish would be are for leftovers the next week, so the Queen held hope that maybe next time the Spare Prince would try more than just the Taco Chip.
